If you are in one of my semester science classes, then you know we’re wrapping up the states of matter this week. I love the posted picture because it shows all of the states commonly found on Earth in one quick shot. Post comment below and let us know one thing you learned during this unit.

I learned how solids can form into a gas and a liquids.
One thing that I learned during this unit is there is a fourth state of matter called plasma that is not common on earth. Plasma can be found in lightning.
I learned how the three states of matter change from a solid to a liquid and from a liquid to a solid. Also how a solid changes to a gas without changing to a liquid and then to a gas.
I think that this is very cool.
Cool.
I learned that plasma is rare on Earth
Things that i have learned this semester in science is that solid is mostly found on earth and that plasma is rare on earth because plasma is lighting and it really doesn’t happen. Solids are particles that vibrate in place. Liquids are particles that slid past each other. Gases are particles that bounce around. If this class was for the entire year Mr.Wood i would totally be in here..!!!!!
I wanna change my answer.
hahaa
i learned that plasma is lightning or like fire.
a solid is a fixed shape.
a liquod has no fixed shape but has fixed volume.
gas has no fixed shape n no fixed volume such as like steam or something
Well I learned something that I never knew before I didn’t know that plasma was rare on earth. O and that solids can turn into a liquid.
I learned a lot of things in this unit, Like the 3 states of matter which are, solid, liquid, gas, and one of them is very rare on earth which is plasma. Also i learned about sublimation, condensation, vaporition, evaporition, and deposition.Mostly those are the things i learned in this unit.
i learned all about the 4 states of matter and how we use them.
Things i have learned on this unit the 3 state of matter is the solid liquid and gas.the one of them is plasma . and i learned about sublimation and evaporization and vaporization and condensation .and daposition and boiling and freezing.
I learned that every state can change to one another
I learned a new state of matter and It is plasma and it is rare it is found in lightning and fire
i learend that all three states of matter have A volume
I learned that solids have fixed shape and volume, liquids have fixed volume but not fixed shape, gases have no fixed shape or volume.solids particles vibrate against each other.Liquids particles slide past each other and gases particles bounce around like basketballs.
I have learned that the solid have both fixed shape and fixed volume so there particles are really close together. Liquids don’t have a fixed shape but it does have a fixed volume and there particles have room to kinda move around.
Gas doesn’t have a fixed shape or a fixed volume there particles can bounce around like crazy.
Solid-Rock
Liquid-Water
Gas-Bubbles
I also know that solid to a liquid is the melting point
and a liquid to a solid is the freezing point.
I learned a new state of matter called plasma it’s lightning and fire.
I learned a lot of things in this unit, Like the 3 states of matter which are, solid, liquid, gas, and one of them is very rare on earth which is plasma. Also I learned about sublimation, condensation, vaporization, evaporation, and deposition.Mostly those are the things I learned in this unit.
I learn that a Solid has fixed shape and volume.A liquid has no fixed shape but fixed volume. A gas has no fixed shape and volume.
I learned that solids have a fixed shape and a fixed volume.
Liquids have a fixed volume but they do not have a fixed shape.
Gases have no fixed shape and no fixed volume.
I learned that all of the three states of matters have something to do with each other, because eventually they all turn into each other. I learned that anything that is a solid is really hard liquid is like water, and gas is just the air you breath.
I learned that all three states of matter have A volume and sometimes plasma.
I learned that solids, liquids, and gases can all be converted to one another except for the state of matter plasma which is rare on earth and could on be found in fire, lightning, and stars.
I learned that there is such a matter called plasma that was in lightning and stars
i learned that a gases particles move freely
I hope it be good..
solids, liquids, gases, can change into each other.
I learned that a solid turns into a liquid and that turns into a gas and that liquids have a fixed volume but not shape and that a solid has a fixed shape and volume and that a gas and that a gas has neither a fixed shape or volume
I learned that solids, liquids, and gases can be converted to one another and plasma is just rare on earth. An example for plasma is lighting and fire.
I learned how the three states Solid, Liquids and Gas change from a solid to a liquid and from a liquid to a solid.
Also how a solid changes to a gas without changing to a liquid and then to a gas.
I learn that some particles move freely..
o0o0o0o i learned that plasma is a state of matter and that an example of it is lightning.
Gas particals
liquid particals
and solid partiles
I learned that fire is a plasma and a plasma screen t.v. was a plasma.
i learn that solid liquid and gas have the same volume but differnte shape
i learned that lightning and fire are a plasma and also a plasma is a state of matter
This is scientificly cool!!!
I learned that a solid is an ice cube, liquid is water, gas is smoke, even I learned that plasma(which is rare on earth) is lighting and fire
I learned that plasma is rare on earth.
i learned that liquid past each other and solids vibrate.
I actually learned a lot. More than I thought I will I ever learn. But from the top of my head the things that remember the most is~ Plasma means~lighting and fire and that it is also very rare on earth~. I learned that Solid has~ definite shape and volume. I also learned that Liquids~changes from a solid to a liquid~and Solids have definite size and shapes. The last thing is ~Gas~ is not fixed or non fixed….
I learn that when solid melts it turns into liquid. Liquid freezes to turn into solid.
I learned that solids, gases and liquid can all be converted to one another except for the state of matter plasma which is rare on earth and could on be lightning, found in fire and stars
iN tHiS UNit i LEARNED tHE MEANiNGS Of A SOLiD, A GAS, A LiQUiD, AND pLASMA.
I learned that gas have the particles all moving around and that the liquid particles are vibrating all around.
solid, liquid, gas, can change into each other
scientists method is really good class but need to use brain in this class
and Mr.wood will help us it fun but don’t ask about cookies to mr.wood because he’s not give u just joking thank you Mr.wood
i learned that liquids solids and gases are states of matter
I LEARNED ABOUT PLASMA! and stuff.
One thing that I learned was that there was a 4th state of matter called plasma and that they can be found in lightning.
ii Learned that plasma is really rare on earth it is in lighting and fire….and stars
what I know about the states of matter is that a solid has a fixed shape and a fixed shape.
What I know about a solid is that a solid has a fixed shape and a fixed volume.
I learned about the 3 states of matter that are solids, liquids and gases and they can change into each other also for example a solid can change to a liquid and a liquid can change to a gas and a gas can change to a liquid and a liquid to a solid. that’s what I learned about plasma is fire and lightning.
Also that a solid has a fixed shape and volume and a liquid has no fixed shape but fixed volume and a gas has no fixed shape or volume that what I learned about the states of matter.
I learned the three states of matter i learned that they all change into the same thing.
